Thoughts from Thailand as we bring up our first son in 21st Century Asia. The reason the blog is called China Bamboo Gate is because if we would have had a girl she would have been called China, a boy, Bamboo. This blog is for all our family and friends dotted all over the world (but mainly in the UK and Laos) and dedicated to our little gem of a son.

Now finally the world can see the dirty soul that lies beneath Thai politics. While the people at the top are pigs eating from the trough, the people below are the unfortunately manipulated masses. It's the same in England and America too though, years of brain-numbing consumerism have left the majority with no sight of what is in their own best interests and it's worse back home because at least we did once have proud political traditions.
haha.. this is the proof: Thailand has no political culture and the Thai politicians are entirely void of any ethics
